The Michael Caines Restaurant offers a great dining experience, delicious modern European cuisine and an exceptional wine list.

Royal St George’s, Sandwich. One of the most famous courses in the UK, it has hosted British Open Championships 11 times. The course was laid out in 1886 and has changed very little. It is a difficult links course and is unusual in that the club prefers 2 ball golf, playing foursomes or singles so that a round typically takes no more than 3 hours. Three and four ball games are not allowed. The Links provides a severe test for even the greatest of golfers and the fact that only three Open winners, Bill Rogers in 1981, Greg Norman in 1993 and Ben Curtis in 2003, have managed to be under par after the 72 holes, speaks for itself. (7070 yards, par 70).

Prince’s, Sandwich. The club enjoys a worldwide reputation as a traditional links of fine quality. It has been a venue for the British Open Championship and the Curtis Cup and is currently an Open Qualifying Course. The club holds a series of Open tournaments for amateur players each year. 27 holes. Dunes 9 holes 3637, par 36. Himalayas 9 holes, 3417 yards, par 35. Shore 9 holes, 3638 yards, par 36.

Littlestone is a championship Links Course laid out on the natural undulating land between the famous Romney Marsh and the English Channel in the South East corner of Kent. The course is presented in superb condition throughout the year. The Club is justifiably proud of again being chosen as a Final Qualifying venue for the 2011 Open and a very recent report by the R & A Agronomist states that the greens are 'magnificent and they are some of the best examples of firm, true and well paced putting greens in the UK'. (6676 yards, par71).

Other Golf Options:

North Foreland Golf Club, Broadstairs – is a challenging cliff-top course situated on the Kent coast at the point where the English Channel becomes the North Sea. It is a free running chalk downland course that offers seaside golf at its very best and a view of the sea from every tee and every green. (6436 yards Par 71).

Royal Cinque Ports, Deal. The Deal course is traditionally laid out on a narrow stretch of land and the natural links terrain has been subtly used to provide a wide variety of challenges. On almost every hole there is an abundance of large sand dunes that establishes the undulating character of the course and makes it unique. As with all traditional seaside links, the wind is a major factor, which has to be taken into account when deciding on club and shot selection. The bunkers (66 in total) are large but fair and the greens are large and fast. The club has staged many championships including the British Open Championship in 1909 and 1920. (6960 yards, par 72.)
